Simply the BEST place I've been so far! I was there in summer 1998; I stayed 2 months, but it's absolutely too short time: if you plan to really see Australia, allow at least 6 months! |
| I've been working for ATCV (Australian Trust for Conservation Volunteers) in NT (real outback!) for 3 weeks and then travelled to Alice Springs, Uluru (Ayers Rock), Cairns, Magnetic Island, Whitsunday Islands, Fraser Island, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Sydney |
| TONS of people to say hallo - in absolutely random order: Paul, Peter, Mike, Annette, Gitta, Jeremy, Sarah and all the staff I met at ATCV, Alexandra and all her cameras, Satoshi, the very serious Waffa, the crazy americans (Beth,Amy,Mo,Mandy,Michael: I miss you all!) of "Le Figaro", Kim, Julie, John and Maria of Fraser, Pierre and Orange, Simon the best chessplayer in Byron Bay, Sophia the Sydney starter and Jules, the best Sydney guide, and all those I met down under: see you in Italy next time! |
