What is Meeting
Meeting is a system to let web users interact together.

The user can do chatting, chess-playing and
anything else with a person connected from
wherever in the world. Simply by loading a web page.

Includes a fully working Connect4 network game, with chat.

This package was made in Feb 1996, and was one of the
first java network games available.
It run on a friend's server for several months,
but now it can't run here...

How is it made
Meeting is a client-server architecture written in JAVA.
The web server runs the Meeting Server,
and the Meeting Client is included in a web page.
The Meeting server accepts calls from clients,
join them in couples and acts as a "gate"
to exchange messages between clients.

It has client-shutdown and a user-defineable timeout detection,
and can limit the number of simoultaneous accesses.

There is also a monitoring client-server system
that allows you to see who's connected, in real-time!

Meeting is FREE !
